Using the Photos app on a Mac is a wonderful way to take a look at your pictures. It’s easy to use and offers several features, including the ability to select multiple photos, add them to an album, and sort them. However, sometimes you need to select all the photos on your computer for a variety of purposes. In that case, you should know the right way to do it.
Selecting all the photos on your computer requires a few basic steps. First, find the images you want to include. Then, you can either click or drag them into the Photos app. You can also select and deselect photos with the keyboard. If you’re not a fan of using a mouse, you can use your trackpad.

Another option is to use the Finder’s Edit menu. This tool is especially useful when you need to copy, forward, or delete a large number of photos. Once you have selected all the photos you need, you can then move them to a different location. Alternatively, you can export them to your computer.
Selecting all the photos on your Mac isn’t as simple as it sounds. This process will be time consuming and tedious, so you may want to use the option of selecting only the photos you want to keep. If you have trouble finding all the photos you need, you can use the shortcut described in Step 2.
Another quick tip is to select all of the pictures that have check marks. These can be printed and shared through many applications. Moreover, they can be used to create a slideshow. For example, you can open a slideshow in iTunes, iPhoto, or the Photos app.
There are a few other ways to select photos on your Mac, too. You can use the Command + A key to select all of the photos in a folder. Or you can use the Shift + Command key to select all of the images in a row.
One last trick is to use the Photos app to select all of the photos you want. Previously, this feature was available only for single photos, but the app now allows you to select up to eight pictures at a time. After you select all of the photos you want, you can then edit them by clicking on the edit button in the top right of the window.

When you’ve finished, you’ll have a folder with all the photos you’ve selected. If you’d like to see all of the images you’ve selected, you can use the View tab.
If you need to remove all the photos from your library, you can do so by right-clicking on the selected photos and choosing “Remove Selected Items”. Alternatively, you can delete all of the photos on your Mac by using the Trash Can icon.
Selecting all of the photos on your Mac isn’t hard, but you should do it with care. If you haven’t done it before, you might want to practice.
